Gelatissimo has a long history of creating hand-made premium artisan gelato, made using traditional Italian family recipes and the finest quality ingredients. Though not at all traditional, all of a sudden comes this, they’re calling it their ‘Doggie Gelato’ with flavours of peanut nougat! Yep, seriously!
Oh, and before you ask. YES! This new creation is safe for dogs. In fact, it is a dairy free, gluten free, tried, tested, and designed to satisfy both humans and dogs. It’s been specially made as a safe gelato for a dog’s digestive system. So yeah, basically they had us when they said peanut nougat!
Finally we can safely get stuck into a sweet delicious gelato without having to deal with those gut wrenching puppy dog eyes staring back at us.
Top dog Gelatissimo‘s master gelato maker/innovator, Anna Temellini explains the whole deal:
“Gelatissimo is all about innovation, and I love the challenge of developing these new, exciting and unique flavours. We had a very talented team behind this creation, and a lot of work and research went in to ensuring we mastered the perfect flavour, while also keeping the product safe and edible for Australia’s most photographed family members!”.“We’re really proud to be able to welcome dogs in our stores and give them the opportunity to become even more a part of the family that they love so unconditionally!”.
From this Saturday 26th March, the limited edition flavour will be available for the public. Available to purchase from Balmain, Bondi, Central Park, Coogee, Cronulla, Lane Cove, Newtown, and Watsons Bay Gelatissimo stores!
Those non-Sydneysiders you can get your fix at Wagga Wagga, Manuka, Lygon Street, Coolangatta, Mackay, Mooloolaba, Noosa, Toowoomba, Townsville, Norwood and Surfers Paradise Gelatissimo stores.
We sure know what we’ll be doing this weekend…
